With the Paso Park Spring Classic and its great successes now in our rearview mirror, we turn our focus to the HMI Spring Classic with Rancho Murieta as the host. We have a full complement of riders and horses and their devoted families and friends turning out for this one as well, featuring many of our top up and coming junior riders! Champion 3’6” Performance Hunter w/ Riley Benvenuti
3rd in the $7,500 USHJA National Hunter Derby w/ Riley Benvenuti
Reserve Champion 3’ Adult Amateur Hunter w/ Gillian Smith
Winner of the $750 Adult Amateur Hunter Classic w/ Gillian Smith
Quinn Durbin and MEMBERS ONLY owned by Jessica Randhawa, CHAMPION in the 3’3” Junior Hunters winning 3 out of 5 classes 5th in the $1,500 Junior Hunter Classic 3’3”/3’6” and 8th in the $2,500 Jr/Am Derby out of 34! “Beau” was also 1st & 2nd in the 3’3” Performance Hunters with Riley earlier in the week.
Elizabeth Church and Debbie Swann’s Camera Ready earned top ribbons in the 3’6” Jr Hunters and finished their week with a 4th in the $1,500 Junior Hunter Classic 3’3”/3’6”! “Bubbles” was also Reserve Champion in the 3’6” Performance Hunters w/ Riley Benvenuti in the irons. Elizabeth also had a great week on her mount Peridot, earning top ribbons in the 3’ USHJA, laying down a beautiful derby round, and finishing the week with a 2nd out of 15 in the 3’ Jr Eq!
Skyler Lincé and Lagomajore had a great week in the 3’3” AOs for top ribbons in each class!
Brianna Larson and Kastaway CHAMPION Mod Ch/Ad Hunters and WINNERS of the Mod Ch/Ad Hunter Classic Kastaway was also Champion 2’9” USHJA w/ Riley earlier in the week.
Riley and Arnold Palmer were Champion in the 3’3” Performance Hunters, winning 3 out of 5 classes in the division and 5th in the $7,500 USHJA National Hunter Derby. #PasoSpringClassic #TeamRiverbend
